Formal education or skills and why? Formal Education is more important because its needed to function in everyday life and once you miss out on formal education, its very hard to gain. Skills can always be learnt. Describe the benefits of working with others A variety of different knowledge available. Can make the job fun with the different personalities, backgrounds and cultures. Describe the benefits of working alone Can complete work with no distractions. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? The customer is not always right, but they can never know that. What unique skills do you have? great people skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, fast learner, responsible, excellent time management, work great unsupervised What would you consider as your 'dream job'? A management position, maybe in the Housekeeping department (i enjoyed working in the housekeeping department for Hilton Adelaide in Australia). There would be office work but also a substantial amount of hands on work also. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Interacting with the tourists. Hearing their stories. Finding out why they come to the Virgin Islands and doing my best to make their stay worth while. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
