Apart from english i can communicate in some of the regional languages of India(eg-Hindi,Konkani, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada). What country or area are you looking to work in and why? What field do you currently work in? I am presently working as an anaesthetic assistant in the operation theatre.i am employed in Woodlands Hospital, Georgwtown, Guyana. What fields have you worked in before? I have previously worked as a staff Nurse in Medical Intensive Care Unit(MICU) and also as a staff Nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care unit(NICU). What qualifications do you hold? I have completed my SSC and HSSC from Goa board,Goa;followed with my graduation in Nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciances,Bangalore,India. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider both education and skills valuable in our field which goes parallel because education is the basis for skills and skill is the product of mastery in ones basic education. Describe the benefits of working with others Working as a team enhances ones knowledge and wisdom, and makes the working field more sociable. Describe the benefits of working alone In my view, working alone has only few advantages than working as a team.It may only be used to sharpen the skills. What was your worst working experience? So far, the worst experiance was in Neonatal ICU, where we had 2 neonatal deaths along with 2 babies being put on ventilatory support on a single night duty. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learnt that life of the human beings is the most precious thing in this world,and that saving a life is the most beautiful thing one can ever do. What unique skills do you have? i have lot of affection towards the newborns and to give them comprehansive nursing care. i also deal with the use of anaesthetics in the operation theatre well. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job would be to have an opportunity to serve in any of the esteemed hospital institutions in British virgin Islands because this was the place i wished to work from long time since. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Humanity n care are the most important aspects in nursing field.
