Formal education or skills and why? Actually both a formal education and one centered on skills each has its own value. There is a need for skilled people, as well as a need for those academically inclined. However, even if you are skilled, there is a need for you to have some basic formal education to assist you on the way forward. Having a formal education, is quite good, but there is also a need for balance by being skilled in whatever you do.
