Looking for a engineering job in Brunei

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am looking for the position of Graduate Engineer in Brunei. I am interested in the areas of electronics, control and systems engineering.

I am currently pursuing my MSc in Control Systems at Imperial College London and my project dissertation is based on the Model Predictive Control (MPC). The predictive controllers have been renowned in the Control world as one of the latest and most sophisticated controllers. The main aim of the project is to synthesize MPC controllers that achieve the design specifications despite the presence of model uncertainties (structured, unstructured and polytopic) as well as disturbances.

With respect to my undergraduate degree, I did a project dissertation with the given title, An Intelligent self-tuning vacuum cleaner. The project required the implementation of generalized predictive controller and fuzzy logic controller to a vacuum cleaner. The overall of the project has been praised by the Automatic Control and Systems Engineering Department of The University of Sheffield for the exceptional ideas and concepts that were used and implemented throughout the project’s report. I had therefore gained the highest project’s report mark amongst my colleagues.

I am competent and knowledgeable in simulation and modelling software and also able to master new technical applications with relative ease.(I have learned MATLAB, C, Pascal, Microsoft word, powerpoint...) Due to my academic experience in the application of emerging engineering techniques, I will be able to make a direct and immediate contribution towards your company.

I am currently seeking to join a company that offers opportunity for growth and advancement for a highly competent and self motivated candidate. I welcome the opportunity to discuss with you how I might best assist your company in fulfilling its present corporate and engineering needs. I appreciate your time and look forward to speaking to you.

PS: I am seeking the job opportunity in Brunei as my wife is in Brunei citizen.

Yours sincerely,

Cai Cheng
