In Africa ,I am a African and Africa is the poorest continent . African expertise need to be use to change the perception and the realities of crime and poverty. Crime is the number two enemy after poverty and has a huge impact on social and mental growth of the African people. My years in security has given me the privilege , understanding and the in site of the criminal mind . Interviewing hundreds and hundreds of criminal suspects i have gain huge amount of knowledge and I need to plough back to the my brothers and sisters in Africa. Formal education or skills and why? Skills its on hand training . I use it every day in the field and office. You get to use the drill,get to understand and use the tools you have learned . I believe is on the job training and you learn and operate with other people which has years of experience. Describe the benefits of working with others I learn the good skills and the bad from others. Use only the good . The support is on hand and knowing there are some one close gives you more confidence and built you self esteem. All people got different skills ,some are experts and to be close to these people you gather huge amount of knowledge and gain experience. Describe the benefits of working alone Some times in covert projects/undercover projects it is good to work alone. Less risk to others or family members. Its a better way to collect or gather info because no one else outside the project knows you are doing it. Give me a peace of mind that only i am at risk and can look after myself. What was your worst working experience? Working in the Covert structure, Top Secret and high profile gangs and terrorist. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Serve the people, serve the people do you best. Work hard and respect others even criminals because thats how you can infiltrate and get information to have a successful investigation. Change the perception and the wrong view people have of Africans and the African continent. What unique skills do you have? Successfully Crime Intelligence operative which does make a huge difference,contribute to the fight of organize gangs and criminals What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Interviewing criminal suspects,profiling and use and treat criminals to infiltrate organize gangs. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Internal fighting for promotion and positions and forgetting our primary purpose.
