The School Director/ School Head
Any English Secondary Schools in Brunei
Dear Sir/Madam:
I found this information in the BRUNEI TEACHING JOBS
Thank you very much for the information, and I am so interested to apply as English Teacher here in Brunei.
Indeed, I have prepared myself in this kind of work long before. The medium of communication in our home is English, because I brought up my only son with English since infancy. Since he was 2 years old, he has spoken English fluently already. Now he is 14 years old, 4th year in high school and a time for me to widen my field of work especially in abroad.
I graduated in Bachelor of Arts (AB) in Public Health and Theology at Mountain View College, Valencia City, Philippines, in 1989. I took up 18 units in Professional Education at Mindanao State University to be qualified for the Teachers board Examination. I passed the Board Examination for Teachers on October 21, 2003. I earned another 21 units in English at Mindanao State University in March 2005. The English in my baccalaureate degree prior to masteral education is 39 units, that is, equivalent to English Major. I got the first place in the ranking of the English Teacher Applicants in Malangas National High School and 15th place in Schools Division wide. I took up Masteral studies and graduated in Master in Teaching (MT) English in October 2007.
I have taught in Malangas National High School as a Substitute Teacher and sometimes a Voluntary Teacher since 2001- 2005. I become a Regular-Permanent Teacher in November 2005 up to the present.
1 was appointed Demonstration Teacher during Division Cluster Team Supervision held in Malangas National High School in the School Year 2006-2007. Moreover, I am one among the privileged to participate in making the Class Budget of Work Preparation for the whole Schools division held on November 6-9, 2007.
My education and experiences is my only guaranty that I can do the teaching job very satisfactorily. Last Year, I handled an advisory class in the lowest section with 57 students, which is more challenging. I¡¦m glad to see students very much improved after a year of teaching.
I wish you can accept me as one of the members of the faculty in this school.
It would be my great pleasure if you can inform me to follow up my application through my E-mail address or my Cell phone at your convenience.
May God bless Us!
Encl.: my Resume
Very sincerely yours,
Arnold C. Garces

One hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank
account was, the sort of house I lived in or the kind of car I drove,
but the world may be different, because I was important in the life of a child.
