Formal education or skills and why? Both are equally important. The former is a must, pre-required and the major premise for the latter, and the good practical clinical skills imply solid background. Describe the benefits of working with others Exchange of ideas, hypotheses, making consensus, scientific discourse, and the more important, team spirit of colleagues working together for the well-being of their patients Describe the benefits of working alone No benefits What was your worst working experience? Working with selfish, egocentric, with lesser degree of competence at the same tine. Non-dialogic persons and equipes. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Medicine is a team profession. Many medical conditions are interdisciplinary, hence the close collaboration between colleagues is vital for the proper functioning of the hospital/ward/clinic What unique skills do you have? General non invasive pulmonology-not interventional. I don't practice /no certificate/ bronchoscopy untill now, which is on top of my qualification agenda to be corrected soon, even abroad, not here in Bulgaria because of lack of tradition and low and old quality of teaching for that kind of sophisticated techniques. COPD, Asthma, Pulmonary infections, Chronic Respiratory Failure, Pulmonary Functions Tests What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Practicing Medicine and being doctor in Bulgaria - 20th century medicine, 20 years /at least/ retardation behind developed countries regarding technology and hospital equipment and know-how, low /or zero/ level of foreign language fluency among medics, keeping them out of phase with contemporary medical practice, low monthly salaries, leading to existential difficulties for their families Why Norway Better hospitals, socialy arranged country, real high quality care for the patients, people and Person - all aspects of traditionnal Western Humanism.
