I love the new republic and it will be needing university lecturers especially History for its nation building. What countries have you worked in? Cameroon only. Teaching and Examiner of HISTORY Ordinary Level for the Cameroon G.C.E. Board What fields have you worked in before? Teaching in private colleges and support staff 'temporal' at the Cabinets of the Secretary of State and Minister of Commerce and Culture respectively. What qualifications do you hold? Post Graduate degree in History specialised in Economic and Social History. The Thesis for the PhD degree in the same subject and specialisation has been submitted and approved for defence. In short I hold the Bachelor of Arts degree, Master degree without thesis, Master degree with thesis or Master of Philosophy degree. I hold a Diplomat in Science of Education. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education.This forms the base of societal fitness for service with or without additional skills at some dispensations.It is also the foundation for training for specific skills or empowerment. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others is first and foremost a mark of socialisation and social integration. It indicates the ability to share abilities for the common good of a community or organisation.Working with others is also educating directly and indirectly because the experience is always enriching.Here risks are shared. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone has very limited benefits.Here praise for success is monopolised.It is good for higly skilled and executive personnels What was your worst working experience? The worst is when the leader of the organisation gave orders that did not comform with the objective of the organisation and was unable to forsee the impact of enforcing implimentation.The organisation failed as the consequence of the implimentation of incompatible orders given by the authority. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? It is good to be duty conscious and ready to learn new useful knowledge at all time by research of by others. What unique skills do you have? I have the skill of paticipatory teaching and pragmatism. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? University teaching What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Teaching people or communities to build their societies or organisations by learning their past. Or teaching them to reflect their past so as to make their present and plan for their future.That is the use of history. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
