For almost 17 years, I have worked in different fields of Accounting. Has done the cashiering job, the monitoring of Accounts Receivable in the collection department and as Bank Recon specialist. What nationality are you? I am proud to say I am a Filipino. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak Filipino & English. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? In America because of the best economy compared to other neighboring countries. What countries have you worked in? In the Philippines. What countries do you have a visa to work in? Honestly, I don't have a visa yet but if given the chance to be hired i will secure for it. What field do you currently work in? In Accounting. What fields have you worked in before? Still in Accounting. What qualifications do you hold? I am an Accounting graduate & have worked in areas of Receivables, Cash, Inventory, Fixed Assets and the Inter company transactions. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Personally, formal education is necessary but without skills it's nothing. Skills are one's ability developed by hard work while formal education can be acquired without ability. Describe the benefits of working with others More knowledge can be gained & experiences can be shared making the goal attainable. Describe the benefits of working alone No distractions. What was your worst working experience? When i was told by my former boss that i am doing someone's job even not being told. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? The lesson i learned and still applied until now is to ask question if not sure what is to be done & not by guessing alone. What unique skills do you have? Computer literate. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Dreaming of a job that has a higher pay than i have been earning for the past 17 years. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Doing bank reconciliation and inter company's accounts from other affiliated countries. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Counting of fixed assets of the company. Why are you planning to leave from your current employer? This is because the salary is so low and the benefits we usually received were planned to be taken from us eventually.
