I am looking in areas outside my country where I can invest my learned skills and hopefully benefit financially. What countries have you worked in? I have only worked within my own country. What countries do you have a visa to work in? None. What field do you currently work in? I work as an IT Manager (OIC) for an IT Department in an Insurance business. What fields have you worked in before? I have worked and started from roots serving as a field support engineer for data and voice applications for 4 years then moved on to work as an IT Supervisor for 7 years. Moving on I have tried consulting service and I have worked as an IT Consultant then finally I am currently working as an IT Manager (OIC). What qualifications do you hold? I am results-oriented, recognized for taking on major initiatives, adapting to rapidly changing environments and resolving mission critical issues to ensure bottom line success. I have experience in successful development and management of business critical information systems, telecommunication networks and peripheral components. I am highly personable and self-motivated individual with the versatility to work among diverse groups of individuals in carrying out deployments of major projects. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider both as valuable. Good education is a value for money. You invest in education and hopefully gain scholastic advancement which you can use in finding a better job. Skills are things you learn on the job site which can be very useful and a plust point as part of your experience and tool. Describe the benefits of working with others I have worked with diversed number of people and it benefits me a lot in terms of flexibility. I turned out to be very flexible and can work with different styles of management. Describe the benefits of working alone I can also work alone with minimum supervision. The benefits i see is that goals are set to meet your own expectations without compromising on other's goals. What was your worst working experience? None. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learned to keep patient in everything i do and I always make sure that I can adapt to changes in technology. What unique skills do you have? I am a fast learner and can accomplish the jobs tasked to me no matter what the situation maybe. I always make myself flexible to whatever outcome and make sure that things are addressed accordingly with urgency. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? A dream job is something worth the investment in terms of skills and time and reciprocates everything by being financially rewarded along with the accomplishments you can contribute to any organization. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Communication is the most interesting aspect of my field. How technology adapt to that aspect makes it more interesting in whatever capacity a technology can bring to bridge people across the globe regardless of any race. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? None. Why should we hire you?
