Job ApplicationWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a job within the management area, business management on a whole. What nationality are you? I am a Jamaican. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak English Language and its very good. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am looking to work in The Grand Cayman Islands. My reason for wanting to work here is that my uncle has worked there before and he informed that the people there are very welcoming and friendly, and the place itself is wonderful. What countries have you worked in? I have worked in The United States and Jamaica. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I have United States work visa. What field do you currently work in? I am currently unemployed.( Just leaving college) What fields have you worked in before? I have worked in the field of business management, doing payroll and inventory. What qualifications do you hold? I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Management. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I honestly think that both are very valuable but skills are more valuable because, one can have a formal education and when entering the working world, they can hardly do what is expected where skills are required. In most organisations one has to be able to work and not just go to the top because they had a formal education. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits of working with others are: 1. Encouragement from each other 2. The work load is sometimes less 3. It helps you to communicate interpersonally. Describe the benefits of working alone One of the main benefits of working alone is decision making. Its only you so decision is easier to make. It also enables acting according to one's judgment without facing criticism. What was your worst working experience? Working in Louisianna, where i had to deal with all different types of people. I was working at Wendy's, often times a customer is having a bad day and their drink is thrown on me or their food. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To be a people person. Being a pleasant person, it brings you really far. People will enjoy you being around because of how you deal with your customers or clients. What unique skills do you have? I can do almost everything thing on a computer (eg web designing). What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being an Immigration Officer. What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
