Managed a Furniture Manufacturer and Distributor SME. Coordinated for uniform computing systems and Employee's training in 12 regional centres of one of the largest Retailers of Consumer Products in Spain. Tought: Computers; Financial Maths; Statistics, Macro Economics. What qualifications do you hold? Bachelors of Science in Economics & Business Administration. Professional Qualification as an Insurance Actuary. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? First the education comes and later on you can develop skills. There are fields that don't need high education. And in other fields, you can have good skills and are going to need education if you want to improve your knowledge and opportunities. So, you need to mix both and depending on the field one of them is more important than the other. Describe the benefits of working with others You have a work timetable. The risk of your Job doesn't have to be the risk of your living support. You work in a team and this let you learn more ways to do things. Describe the benefits of working alone You chose how much time you work. You don't have a boss. Your work doesn't depend on the other's opinion. What was your worst working experience? When I got to a big supermarket to change its computer net system software, it failed even before I made the back up. It was Sunday and they needed for Monday. As I had told them I was going to be there and would do those changes they had made another back up the day before I got there. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? You need to trust your team and don't mix personal relationships with your Job. What unique skills do you have? I make my Spanish classes very active. The students speak a lot even if they don't Know Spanish Yet. I'm use to take on every kind of responsibility even if haven't done before. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? A job which allows me to have time to enjoy my personal life, which let me improve my professional qualifications, and it would be better in a nice place to live. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I can teach not only Spanish, I can teach Spanish business for companies that want to widen their market share. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Teaching is always rewarding.
