EXPATRIATE CONSUMER PRODUCTS INSPECTOR - PART TIME :

WE ARE SEEKING A WESTERN EXPATRIATE, CURRENTLY RESIDENT IN OR AROUND SHANGHAI, WHO IS INTERESTED TO WORK ON PART TIME, BUT REGULAR ASSIGNMENTS, VISITING FACTORIES IN ZHEJIANG AND JIANGSU.

TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN, BUT APPLICANTS SHOULD POSSESS A NATURAL UNDERSTANDING AND EXPERIENCE OF WHAT CONSTITUTES POOR OR HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS AND PACKAGING.

THE MAIN JOB FUNCTION IS TO COMPARE PRE-APPROVED SAMPLES WITH MASS PRODUCTION SAMPLES, REPORTING DIFFERENCES FOUND IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP, DURING ONE-DAY, ON-SITE PRE-SHIPMENT PRODUCT INSPECTIONS ACCORDING TO A RANDOM SAMPLING PROCEDURE.

BASIC CHINESE IS USEFUL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL AS ALL COMMUNICATION WITH THE PRINCIPAL WILL BE USING ENGLISH. TRAVEL EXPENSES WILL BE REIMBURSED, DAY ASSIGNMENT FEES IN RANGE OF RMB 800 (NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE), INC REPORT WRITING.

BRITISH DIRECTOR WILL CONDUCT INTERVIEWS IN SHANGHAI DURING EARLY JUNE 2006.
