Project Manager in China - Create and execute project work plans and suggest alternatives where problems are- Encountered in the original plan - Support VCIC in breaking down project scopes into suitable work packages - Define milestones and schedule deadlines - Define roles and responsibilities within the project team - Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects - Arrange project-relevant appointments - Act as point of liaison between suppliers and VCIC - Plan and manage the life cycle of projects according to VOLKSWAGEN standards - Understand the importance of quality assurance practices and have the ability to alert VCIC to - Potential project risks - Apply quality control practices (knowledge transfer, work packages) - Update VCIC on progress or issues arising during project implementation via regular meetings and written status reports - Review deliverables prepared by the project team, before passing to VCIC - Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately - Assist in the creation of test specifications and implementation of tests - Assist VCIC in planning extensive rollouts - Clearly define the beginning and end of a project, including a handover phase to operation - Assist VCIC in assessing SLA requirements for smooth operation support - Provide on-the-job training to internal key users and support associates |
