What type of job are you looking for?

A job related to community work or general population

What nationality are you?

Ugandan

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Christmas Islands

What countries have you worked in?

Uganda

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Japan (part time jobs)

What field do you currently work in?

NGO community work focus in areas of HIV and AIDS and sustainable livelihood

What fields have you worked in before?

Disaster preparedness and management

What qualifications do you hold?

A degree in Public administration and Human resources management

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Formal education is the entry point into skills building. I think having both is necessary. However emphasis on skills education after the basic formal education has been attained would make more sense.

Describe the benefits of working with others

I fancy working with others, it builds team work. as a result, there will skills building, time management and quality output.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone? maybe in a specialized environment, you may need to concentrate on a given piece of task, but I still believe at another time T, you end up in the group with others to have the work completed as a piece

What was your worst working experience?

Solving governance issues of the small organizations that were being coordinated by the organisation I used to work with

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Patience with people Time management Timely decision making Follow up strategy

What unique skills do you have?

Leadership skills Facilitation (Capacity building trainings) Project management / evaluation Report writing

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Working with an NGO focussing on community work is my best for now

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

It is a comprehensive package involving health, economic, social and education packages

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

So far, all my field is interesting
