i am australian with italian back ground

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

english very well

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

christmas island because i need a change from this busy city life.

What countries have you worked in?

australia

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

none but i have my australian passport

i am a fisherman at the moment as its my profession and i have alot of tickets and certificates that are needed from diving to coxswains to marine engineering

What fields have you worked in before?

fishing diving retail night clubs labouring

What qualifications do you hold?

coxswains, marine engineering, nautical knowledge, senior first aid, diving ticket, elevated work platforms

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

well i guess it depends on the line of work really but i tend to find skills is better cause you have had the hands on experience.

Describe the benefits of working with others

you get to meet new people would have to be the best benefit. meeting new people and making new friends

Describe the benefits of working alone

you make more money i guess but things are harder for yourself and you may probably not be as motivated, i cant really see much benifits in working on your own

working for someone who went bankrupt and not getting paid for my hard work

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

work hard and get the job done right and you will be rewarded, earn your employers trust and friendship

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

everyday is different. i have not worked a single day that has been the same as another.

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

when you work out at sea for weeks on end the days are usually long. eg: trap fishing is a 20 hour a day job and for 2 weeks with only about 3 hours sleep a night can take its toll after a while

Please replace this with a question of your own

what goes through your mind when someone asks for a job and hasnt done that work before but is interested in it? cause from my past experiences i am told i didnt get the job cause i have no experience but how do i get the experience if nobody is will to teach me.?
