I do not have a visa as of yet to work in Colombia but will apply soon What field do you currently work in? currently I work in as a lab technician in an eye institute...making glasses, using the computer and four machines What fields have you worked in before? tool and die automatic machine setup and maintenance, warehouse and stock management and maintenance and hard laborer, waiter& bartender, meat cutter video sales and rental management What qualifications do you hold? trained in Warehouse Management and Stock Supervisor for 13 stores & Warehouse Maintenance Supervisor Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills, you can learn a lot more working in the field, than you will ever learn in a book, hands on work, you can learn from a book , but a book will not teach you to work with people, actually doing the work is better than reading about it..a book can tell you what to do, but doing it yourself is much more fun Describe the benefits of working with others people skills is a must in any field, even if you work alone..you must be able to talk and react to others, kindness to fellow workers helping them, and working side by side with others can teach you a lot about yourself, your attitude towards others, the way you react to everyday stress and how they react, I like to come to work happy, it makes everyone else smile, and you can make there day go better and they can make yours.. Describe the benefits of working alone sometimes working alone you can get more done without being bothered, you can concentrate better on what you are doing What was your worst working experience? working with people that did not like what they were doing, always grumpy and hated coming to work, it makes your day harder to get through What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? always show up early, be someone people like to work with, work hard and help others to work hard, show up for work everyday, be reliable! and treat others the way you want to be treated What unique skills do you have? I am in great physical shape, I love to get up in the morning early and workout...it helps you through the day, keeps my energy levels up and you can work longer and harder than people half your age, I am trained in management, working to train others to do there best, I have worked in Warehouses and in Stock Management for 13 stores, I relate very well with others, I like to keep things organized and clean What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I have mostly worked inside, I would love to work outside in a hard labor type job...construction of any kind..I am not afraid to work hard, getting my hands dirty, or the rest of me dirty..I am in great shape, maybe a Security Officer of some kind, I love to work with people maintenance in a hospital, I always wanted to help people, but anything outside would be great What are the most interesting aspects of your field? being able to talk to people, making friends where ever you work, to gain their respect, at the moment I am good at multitasking working with 3 or 4 machines at a time and taking care of the phones and the shipping and receiving, all while dealing with patient needs What are the least interesting aspects of your field? sometimes doing the same thing over and over can be boring, doing the same thing from day to day can bring even the best worker down what kind of person are you outside of work? I love to work out, stay in shape, staying busy to me is a must, i am not a person that sits on my butt at home, i like to get out with the kids and the wife and do fun things...paintball or swim at the pool or go bowling, or maybe go to the movies and the park How can potential employers contact you?
