I love this city, and teaching here would be a fantastic way to get to know as many Bogotanos as possible. What nationality are you? United States. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? English- native. Italian- fluent. Spanish- advanced (I am working on this). What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Bogotá, Colombia. The people here are amazing. What countries have you worked in? I have taught English in Perú, the United States and Italy. I also taught Italian in the United States. TEFL certification from the University of Minnesota B.A. double major in Italian and Global Studies with a minor in TEFL from the University of Minnesota Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I'm friendly, fun, and have lots of experience teaching. What was your worst working experience? My boss in Perú was from the United States and was extremely ignorant to his surroundings. He was completely uninterested in Peruvian culture, and it was quite miserable to try to enjoy a foreign country with such a horrible, closed-minded boss.
