| Video: Industrial Revolution 2010 Video highlighting the PPWFC's Youth Zone Industrial Revolution program. The award winning program is widely recognized throughout the region as having the finest curriculum in the state of Colorado, and recently won the "Best Practice" award at the RMWDA conference held June 9-11th, 2010. Youth participants spend each day visiting a local business and learning about the ever changing workplace industry. The visits include intensive Q & A sessions, as well as impressive hands on demonstrations of the technical aspects of the trades. The youth spend mornings in the computer lab, working on improving their math skills as well as learning about the industry they will be visiting that day. This very competitive program selects participants based upon an essay they submit explaining how they would benefit from the program and their performance during interviews with the PPWFC staff. The program runs from June 1st until June 30th.
