I am living in Canada and am looking to first visit costa rica and research either finding work or starting my own business there. I owned my own business here for over 25 years and now looking eleswhere. I am an appliance tech by trade, but I can also fix almost anything. I am still researching how I go about being able to work in Costa Rica but I am coming from the US with my graphic design skills and experience and am hoping to find someone who I can work for or do work for. I am a US citizen and would like to relocate to Costa Rica from Fort Myers, Fl. and would like to work as a Front Desk / Manager of Time Share Resort that is my profession. I speak 2 languages English and Spanish. I want to visit San Jose Costa Rica in the near future maybe sometime in Sept. or Nov. 2005. My family and I are thinking about moving to costa rica. I own a masonry company that does about $1.5 annually. What kind of construction opportunities are there in costa rica & how hard would it be to start a business there. I do speak spanish.

I specialize in alternative energy and have heard conflicting accounts of the electrical services in Tamarindo and surrounding areas.
