Interior design and part time timeshare sales What fields have you worked in before? Admin, timeshare sales, retail, electrical, interior, event co ordinating, hospitality, tourism, marketing What qualifications do you hold? NSC - National Senoir Certificate Interior decorating Diploma Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills - as i see this as strength as oppose to just knowing something out a book, a skill is something that is developed and will stick and something learned is just read and often forgotten. A skill shows that you can do the job where as education of it shows you only know how to do it and not actually doing it . . . skills help alot more in a social enviroment as you have developed experience which goes alot further Describe the benefits of working with others You have a team, you can help each other, push each other, motivate each other, get alot further but most of all learn from each other as they say a person who stops learning will never be wise Describe the benefits of working independantly? It shows decipline,strength and character as well as responsibility What was your worst working experience? Being in a negative enviroment with neagtive,critising people What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? to perservare, dont give up What unique skills do you have? I am a very hard working invidual with a very creative mind and learn quickly i like to feel that i always create a presence when i work at place and always have people fond of me What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Anything where i can be me , be creative, be ambitious, where i can enjoy myself where i feel like going to work but most of all to be able to move up into higher positions What are the most interesting aspects of your fields? they all have interesting aspects ... timeshare is exciting, driven, also feels like you on a holiday,interior is creative, fun rewarding at the end of job, event co ordinating once again fun and exciting and admin is normal but you have some time for yourself, retail is social and at times creative and exciting What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Timeshare can get to you emotionally sometimes, interior can be alot of physical work, event co ordinating can have you wanting to kill clients sometimes . . . admin not much too it and last but not least retail - if not selling the right thing can be very quiet and boring When can you start? i can start in one month - May How can potential employers contact you?
