sales manager positionWhat type of job are you looking for and what skills do u have in it ? i am looking for a sales managers position in the timeshare industry. i have +/- 10 years of experience in the industry. i have been operating manager for more than one company and on numerous occasions won awards for writing over a million rands worth of business. i have managed a deck,managed 8 different resorts (in house) as well as house sit operations. i regard my self as someone who has all the necessary skills. Afrikaans - read, write, speak and understand English - read, write, speak and understand What country or area are you looking to work in and why? i am keen on working overseas but especially islands as it goes hand in hand with the timeshare industry, but not close minded to basically work anywhere overseas. Skills as this comes naturally . . . you are either born with it or not especially in sales. Life experience also adds to skills, i feel that one who has all the knowledge but no life skills often messes up when put in enviroment with other people (colleagues) they dont know how to deal with stress ect. i also have seen time and time again people who have hands on experience do a much better job than those who just qualified in the knowledge aspect of it Describe the benefits of working with others it is all based on team work . . . we can achieve more turn over and share our skills, helping each other with objections, motivating each other Describe the benefits of working independantly? It shows invidual strength and character What was your worst working experience? having a manager make my life difficult as he saw me as a threat due to my potential What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? to stay motivated and not to let small things get me down, keeping your eye on the goal is the key What unique skills do you have? i have the recipe 2 tripple a sales branches turnover,i have done this on numerous occassions, opening branches that others have tried to but failed, as well as saving branches that were about to close their doors.
