Electrical work, I have my Masters and I'm skilled in every level of my field.

Costa Rica, I have a dream to take my skills some where other then the US, to a beautiful place and a warm place that I can call home.

What countries have you worked in?

United States

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I have only worked in the US, except when I was in the navy for 4 years.

What field do you currently work in?

Master Electrician

What fields have you worked in before?

Electrical

What qualifications do you hold?

Masters, Journeymanship

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Education gives you the skills, along with hands on training>

Describe the benefits of working with others

I have worked in this field for 22 years. I have worked very hard to get where I'm at in my field, by getting my Master's, and also by teaching second year Journeyman ship. I'm extremely reliable, never miss a day of work and I have alot to offer in many ways. Loyalty, leadership, working well with others and making sure each job is done in time and also proffessional.

Describe the benefits of working alone

If I know I can handle a job, there is no problem working alone. I have been put on very large jobs by myself by my company, because they knew I would get it done.

What was your worst working experience?

The company Barone Electric went out of business due to the economy. The company I had been with for 16 years.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

To pay attention to every detail, always know there is more to learn, always do your best work and work well with others.

What unique skills do you have?

I have my Masters and I can handle any electrical job that is sent my way.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Working in Costa Rica as an Master Electrician, doing what I love in a beautiful place.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The harder the job, the better for me.

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

I really cannot think of any.

Hey I am writing you because I am also interested in moving to Costa Rica to work as an electrician. I am currently a third year apprentice. I am from Canada and I have experience in a few different areas including: Commercial, and residential wiring, Oil Rig construction and some other industrial experience.
