What type of job are you looking for?

electrician job, currently hold a Journeyman License in Texas. Currently a job forman/runner. I have been the lead guy on several large jobs (apartment complex, a church, several food establishments.

What nationality are you?

American

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

english and a little spanish. Have worked mainly with hispanic workers

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

pacific coast would be nice but wouldn't mind anywhere in Costa Rica. I am surfer and have been traveling to Costa Rica for 20 yrs.

What countries have you worked in?

US and Mexico

What field do you currently work in?

Electrical

What fields have you worked in before?

Carpenter, food and beverage, electrical

What qualifications do you hold?

Am an qualified Commercial/residential electrician with management/people skills

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

skills, without skills your education is useless. You go to get an education to be taught skills.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Team work is the only way things get done. The more hands the more work. Also, rapport with co-workers is a great tool

Describe the benefits of working alone

You know exactly how the work is laid out. You did it, no matter how long it took, it is with out faults.

What was your worst working experience?

cleaning out a clogged drain on a trailer home, got pretty messy

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

work smarter not harder, sweet the little things and the big things will be o.k., treat your workers with respect and they will make you look good, you are only as good as the crew you are working with

What unique skills do you have?

great leader, great people skills, great troubleshooter, do clean electrical work.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

being a master electrician with thousands of clients and making great money living on the ocean

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

problem solving, getting the job done

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

dirty, hot conditions

what is the most important thing in your life?

children, love them and want them to have a nice life and live somewhere beautiful.
