Student Summer JobWhat type of job are you looking for? Any summer job in larnaca. The field i am most interested in is any doctor's office (eg, dentist, opthalmologist) which i would be willing to work voluntarily. however, due to the need of money i am willing to work at a cafeteria, hotel or clothing shop in larnaca during the day. additionally, i am a qualified first aider and life guard and a life guarding position at a hotel is most welcomed. I have only worked voluntarily at an office due to the fact that i am stil a school student. What fields have you worked in before? office work (voluntarily) What qualifications do you hold? i am still a school student and the only qualifications i have are my GCSE's (Straight A student). i go to a private school and i am currently doing my Alevels Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Education is recognized to be an important key towards a successful career for an individual; however, skills are extremely important in my opinion due to the fact that they are difficultly attained but can be strengthened. A person that has countless degrees and finished a top school may not posses communication skills, adaptability skills (adapt to changing conditions and assignments), leadership skills or most importanntly the ability to work in a team! therefore skills outbeat formal education, even though education is also very important. Describe the benefits of working with others Working in a team with others gives you the ability to encourage one another, develop a bond or even cultivate a friendship. You learn how to depend on each other and most importantly learn the art of cooperation. Furthermore, other people mayhave other ways of doing things, and you team work can help you learn from their ways. Describe the benefits of working alone working alone is advantagous looking at it from the aspect that an individual is free to make all the decisions and be creative. Furthermore, working alone means that you avoid disagreements and can adapt your own working methods. What unique skills do you have? i am an extremely social person, critical thinker and decision maker. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? my ultimate dream job is to become a doctor and help people around me. the job i am seeking right now is a summer job and that is why i understand that there is no way that it will be linked to my dream job.
