Looking to move to the paphos area in cyprusWhat type of job are you looking for? I am interested in any type of work, i have an open mind. A job in retail, in a bar, restuarant or in a hotel would be ideal though. What nationality are you? I am white British. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak excellent english and a small amount of french. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am looking to work in the Paphos area as i have been there on holiday three times and love it so much, i am also getting married there next year. What countries have you worked in? Currently England is the only country i have worked in. What countries do you have a visa to work in? As i am a citizen in a EU country i am able to work in all other countries that are in the EU. What field do you currently work in? I currently work in retail as a sales assistant and have worked in this feild for just under three years. What fields have you worked in before? I have worked in as an office assistant and in tele sales. What qualifications do you hold? I hold 8 GCSE'S; English literature and Language C,C, Maths D, Double science D,D, French C, History D, Food technology C and IT C. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider skills to be more valuable because no ammount of education can give a personality and you need one to be able to work with the public or as part of a team. You need skills such as being helpful, friendly, hardworking and trustworthy to be successful in most jobs and you can't gain these neccessarily through education. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits of with others is that you get to work as part of a team, interact with others and help each other with things you or they might not be experienced in. Describe the benefits of working alone The benfits of working alone are that you can concentrate entirly on the job at hand and devote your full attention to it. What was your worst working experience? Probably being shouted at and verbally abused at work for not knowing where something was, i handled the situation by trying to calm the customer down and eventually getting my manager. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learnt that is it good to be trustworthy and reliable to maintain a good relationship with your boss. What skills do you have? I am friendly, Hardworking, reliable, trustworthy and open minded, all skills in which i feel are important in a employee. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job would be in the travel industry, in the airport in ticketing or as a travel agent. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Getting to talk and intereract with the public. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Have to sit on a checkout for long periods of time, it can be quite boring. Why do i love cyprus so much? I feel in love with the place the 1st time i went on holiday so much so that i have been back every year since and am getting married there next year.
