Seeking Retail workwhat type of work are you looking for? I am looking for full time or part time Retail work. What nationality are you? White-British What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Very good English Speak very little French What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Limassol as that is the part of Cyprus i am looking to find accommodation in. What countries have you worked in? Just England. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I Don't but can get one and some country's you do not need a Visa. What field do you currently work in? My last job was in Retail. Woolworth's but as it closed down i lost my job. What fields have you worked in before? Retail and done a few weeks on Reception in my work experience. What qualifications do you hold? NVQ 1,2& 3 Beauty Therapy GCSE'S - R.E & ART -Grade B English,Maths,Double Award Science,French,Media - Grade D Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I find my skills more valuable. Even though i have not had much work experience as i have spent most my years in College i do have very good Customer Service skills,i am very understanding which i think is good when it comes to dealing with difficult customers. i am patient and polite and always have a smile on my face to make people feel wanted. i just need one chance to show what skills i have got but because my experience it is hard to gain that once chance. Describe the benefits of working with others whilst working with others you gain a lot of team work experience and that is where you can get very good communication skills from. You learn to work together as a group where you find that no one is any better than each other and no one is the team leader,you work together at all times. Describe the benefits of working alone when your working alone you have to use your own initiative a lot more.You can only depend on your self so you have to make sure you know exactly what you are doing. What was your worst working experience? my worst working experience was dealing with one difficult customer. we had a sale is Woolworth's where it said 'up to 75% off all items' one customer thought it said 'everything 75% off' so she had come to me with a massive basket of stuff. once i had scanned it all for her she was so shocked at the total. Then i explained not everything was 75% off and she said the sign was miss leading. i kept calm with her and explain slowly and said sorry that it was miss leading and in the end she understood and was fine with it. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? to always try and get along with the people you work with and customers. Also if you are having problems out side of the work place do not ever bring them in to work. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? working in fashion Retail and working my way up from a Sales Assistant to a Supervisor or Assistant Manager. How can potential employers contact you?
