I am looking for any one of the following: Legal Secretary Legal Receptionist Legal Typist/Transcriptionist Medical Receptionist Secretary Receptionist

What nationality are you?

South African

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English - First Language Afrikaans - Second Language - fluent written and spoken French - Basic School Level

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I would love to work in Cyprus.

What countries have you worked in?

South Africa Ireland

What field do you currently work in?

Legal (Document Processing)

What fields have you worked in before?

Legal Medical Advertising and Publishing Retail Agriculture

What qualifications do you hold?

Matric (Gr 12) Conveyancing Secretarial Certificate

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills. Formal training gives you the knowledge but skills are acquired through hard work and training on all levels.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Work can be distributed according to skillsets, shared responsibilities, combined problem solving and the benefit of combined brainpower/manpower.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Work can be carried out without distraction, meticulously and responsibly.

What was your worst working experience?

I cannot think of any particularly aweful working experiences except for being paid less than I was worth.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Idle hands never got anyone anywhere.

What unique skills do you have?

Any skills that I do not possess, I make a point of acquiring.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

A well paid outdoors job working with horses.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

As a transcriptionist working for a large UK Law firm I enjoy the diversity of interesting cases dealt with.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The work can sometimes be tedious and boring.
