Looking for a summer job.What type of job are you looking for? I am mainly looking for child care jobs but will consider other options. England only but i am looking for new experiences. What countries do you have a visa to work in? England. What field do you currently work in? Child Care. What fields have you worked in before? Retail carer for elderly Childcare- nurseries, preschools, schools, nanny, babysitting, creche Waitress Chambermaid What qualifications do you hold? I have a Cache Diploma in Child Care Level 3. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider skills more valuable as its your skills you bring to the job role. Someone could have the formal education behind them but not have the relevant experience orskills to fit that job role. Describe the benefits of working with others You can share job responsibilities and work as a team to achieve everyones full potential. Working a lone can sometimes be lonely and when things go wrong you do not have any back up. The saying is 3 minds are better than one. You also have others to encourage and drive you on through any tough times. I was a nanny and very much enjoyed it although it could be very lonely and you did not have support from other workers. Describe the benefits of working alone The benefits are that you do not have any one else to please as such and can depending on the job role do things more your way or work they way that suits you. You dont always have to comprimise on decisions. Also you are not distracted by any one else. What was your worst working experience? I remember when i was very young i had a paper round and i remember really struggling with the weight of the bag. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? An important lesson i have learnt is a job is not about anything else but happyness you must be happy within your job. Follow your dreams just dont let them be dreams make them reality. What unique skills do you have? I have lots of patience which in child care is esential. I have been working from the age of 13 and i am not scard of long hours and hard work. I always want to work to the best of my ability and provide high care and deliver the best customer care. I can work under pressure and as a team or alone as i have had job positions which allowed me to expereince both. I will adapt quickly into a new environment. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Right now i have lots of dreams. I dream of working in the best possible environment a warm place, i find england so grey and dull most of the time and you can never count on the weather even in summer. I dream of seeing the world and providing the best possible care for children. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting part of my career is the children its as simple as that. Children are such fasinating little things and i love to watch them grow and develop. Its amazing how different each child is and it is interesting getting to know all the children individually and working so closly with them. I love to watch them develop and overcome different obsticles on the way. Children remind me of a blooming flower and its incredible to watch this process. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The least interesting part of my field is the paper work because in child care it takes your time away from the children which is very sad. But child care in England is getting more and more paper work. Why do i want to work in Cyprus? I am keen to work abroad as i feel i have got to a point in my career where i feel very bord and that i need to do new things a face new challenges. Travelling was always something on my agendre but other than fantastic holidays i have had have not yet gone away for a long period. I like the idea of working abroad intriging exciting i love the thought of unchatered teritory. I am currently very bord in my job and i am far to young to feel this way, i need to do things that trills me and interests me. Cyprus is somewhere i would love to work as i have had many holidays there and my partner is also cypriot which means it would be a dream come tru to go back to my partners routes and experience working life there.
