Summer job in July near Paphos. What type of job are you looking for? I'm looking for a job that would gain some experience in life. It would be my first big summer job so I don't really mind. What nationality are you? I'm British born but I have lived in France ever since I was five years old. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak fluent English and French (billingual) I've got some German knowledge (I can hold a discussion with a German) And have some Spannish knowledge (know a few words) What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I'm looking for a job in Cyprus in Paphos (or near). I've got my Granparents who live over Paphos and as I had not seen them for five years, I thought I could come over and see them as well as get a summer job. What countries have you worked in? Africa: Mali, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya...and in Scotland with my father. He was a hotel general manager in big hotels. So I know how hotels work. What countries do you have a visa to work in? Cameroun, Mali and Europe. What field do you currently work in? I'm still in high school and will finish my last year next year before going to University. I am in a litterature class which ables students to work as teachers, actors, journalists... What fields have you worked in before? I have worked in a supermarket, carpenters work place and a hotel, restaurant, bar. What qualifications do you hold? I hold French school qualifications with mentions. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? My goal in life is to become an actor as well as a teacher (languages), so I would obviously favour education. I find interesting and it brings so much to a person, it shapes that person. A skill is great but not everybody will know your skill when you talk to them but only when you show it whereas education is always seen and great to have. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with someone means you can rely on someone or help. It means you can share knowledge and tips on how to do things. When you are with someone you always feel safe and won't be useless because the other one will tell you what to do and you may rely on the other. Describe the benefits of working alone When you work alone you feel like you're your own boss you do what you were told to do and you won't get influenced by the others who would tell you otherwise. Working alone brings experience and confidence. What was your worst working experience? I haven't had any yet. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Always work with a smile and be as helpful as possible. What unique skills do you have? Social with people and would know how to make them feel at home. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working in a restaurant or bar. How old are you and where do you currently live? I've just turned eighteen and I live in Fecamp (Normandy) France. Are their any times that you want to work on? I'm willing to work every day of July at any hour. I really want a summer job so that I could finance a trip to see a friend in Sweden. Last words? I'm willing to accept any job. Thankyou.
