Deck Cadet or Ordinary Seaman

Any kind of work availble in your company i know that i can do it because im a hardworking and eager to learn person.

What nationality are you?

I am proud to say that i am a FILIPINO

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Ofcourse i can speak tagalog cause i am a Filipino but thats an under-statement.I can also speak in english i hope my sentence is ok so you can uderstand me.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

At the moment i dont want to be choosy be ijust want to apply for work and hopefully i will get hired.but ofcourse im applying for work related to what i am graduted for.

What countries have you worked in?

Im afraid i havent been to any other country other than my own contry.One of my dream as a little boy is to travel around the world for free.thats why i became a SEAMAN.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

None as of the moment.

What field do you currently work in?

At the moment iam applying in any Company that might hire me as a DECK CADET or ORDINARY SEAMAN.

What fields have you worked in before?

1 year experience as an Apprentice DECK CADET, and two experience of workingin a factory as HELPER as in doing anything what the company ask me to regarding work in the company ofcourse.

What qualifications do you hold?

I am a graduate of BS MARINE TRANSPORTATION at FEATI University,Manila Philippines.I have a 1 Year experience of being an apprentice DECK CADET at Starlite Ferries INC., located at Batangas Calapan Port Philippines.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

They have different level of importace, Formal education is needed for when you need proof that you really studied for what your applying for. Skills is important to because thats the time you can prove to your employer your capability to work

Describe the benefits of working with others

The benefits is if you need help someones there to help you.And you can talk to someboby so you will never get board

Describe the benefits of working alone

The benefits of working alone is you dont have to argue with anybody because you dont like the result of their work.

What was your worst working experience?

The worst is when im painting the side of our ship when im working as a DECK CADET in a small passenger cargo i fall down in the water because the ship dont have any available safety harnest.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Sucess doesnt change the person it just makes more of who you really are.

What unique skills do you have?

My unique skill is that i am a hardworking person i dont tend to leave my work as long as my work is not fnish you can see me there working.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Just to be in a ship and do what ever my captain wants me to do.And ofcourse to pulfill my dreams to sea other countrys other than philippines.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The most interesting aspectin my field is seing other countries and their WONDERS.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The least interesting aspect in my field is being away to my family.

what do you think you can contribute to our company?

If ever i get hired i will do my job 110% because i am a hardworking man. Thank You.
