Looking For A Job

What type of job are you looking for?

I'm looking for a job in the restraunt industry, specifically as a waiter, the majority of my work experience has been being a server.

What nationality are you?

Canadian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak english perfectly, its my first language. I also speak french as well.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I'm looking to work in a counrty that has sun all year around, I've lived in Canada my entire life so I'm getting sick of these cold winters.

What countries have you worked in?

I have only worked in Canada

What field do you currently work in?

I'm currently an assitant manager and waiter at Aubegerge Willow Place inn, which is a hotel, bar, dinning room and Terrace establishment.

What fields have you worked in before?

For the majority of my work experience i have been in restraunts, I've been waiting for the past 4 years and I have also 2 years of cooking experience.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I beleive that there both equally valuable, but i also beleive you need education to require skills depending on the situation.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Benifits with working from others are great, you get to meet new people, make new friends, you get to learn alot from other peoples experience and advice, every single person in this world has something to offer that you can learn from.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone gives you more freedom, you get learn about yourself and become your own person.

What was your worst working experience?

One day on a Holiday (Labour Day) we were extremely under staffed and it was just a constant 12 hours of madness with nothing prepared due to a lack of employees at the time.

What is the most important attribute you have learnt throughout your career?

I used to be really shy, and since I started waitering I completely changed into a different person in a sociable aspect. Just from the fact all I do is interact with different people everyday.

What unique skills do you have?

I'm a hard worker, good working with my hands on a day to day basis, Very responsible, reliable with tasks, when a job is given I make sure it get done to the best of my abilities. I'm a fast worker, work well under pressure and effciently. Also work well in a sociable enironment or independently

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

I have a couple, one would be a professional basketball player or anything associated with that, or a comdeian.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Meeting new people everyday, getting a chance to learn from a different person everyday.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The only thing I can think of really is dealing with odd angry customer who just seems to hve a problem with everything.

What is your education?

I have my High school diploma and I'm currently in my second year of college.
