lokking for a job in puerto plata What type of job are you looking for? i have a wide range of backgrounds with different jobs from hair dressing and insurance to a deputy manager of a residentail childrens home so i am looking for work within childcare or office work. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? i am looking to work in puerto plata, dominican republic due to my partner being a dominican national living in puerto plata. What field do you currently work in? i am a deputy manager of a childrens home for children with challanging behaviour and emotional problems due to early childhood truma. What fields have you worked in before? i have been a hair dresser and also worked for an insurance company seeling insurance and customer service. What qualifications do you hold? NVQ LEVEL 3 in health and social care for children and young people. NVQ level 1 and 2 in hair dressing 10 GCSE's Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? formal education as a basis but i would sa skills that you pick up daily in your work and you learn from to make your daily work practice better can be more valuable. Describe the benefits of working with others you are able to gain from others knowledge and experience and also help others with yours. What was your worst working experience? working in a cimema What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? to be honest if you want to move forward in your carrer honesty is the only way to do it. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? running a childrens shelter in countries where there is no care or social care system. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? the children and young people i care for often have the worst start in life and are still able to carry on and 9 times out of 10 become respectable adults with a bright futher. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? mountains of papar work to back up and prove every action you do with a young person.
