Dominican Republic, because I feel I can bring a lot of great experience and knowledge with me to any job I go to as I have 10 years experience as well as owning my own business for the past 3 years. What countries have you worked in? Canada What countries do you have a visa to work in? None as of yet but see no problem getting one. What field do you currently work in? I presently own my own Plumbing and Gasfitting company for 3 years now. What fields have you worked in before? I worked in the oil and gas industrie for 15 years. I worked in the natural gas distribution for 3 years, installing natural gas lines to farmers in southern Alberta. What qualifications do you hold? Journeyman Redseal plumber, Journeyman Class "A" gasfitter,Utility Gas Operator certificate. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? They both play an equal part in this industry,because there is no schooling that can equal hands on skills, but yet in school you learn so much about the safety aspect which is number one in my eyes. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefit of working with others is, how once everybody is pulling in the same direction, how much you can actually acomplish. Describe the benefits of working alone Only having to worry about yourself, you know exactly what you want to acomplish and you just do it. What was your worst working experience? Working for an employer who had no direction.You wasted at least an hour every day. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Never do a halfassed job,I take extreme pride in my work. What unique skills do you have? I have excellent people skills and I have a great knack for vision. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To be doing the work in which I am trained in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I love to run piping and have it be absolutly perfect. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Having to deal with bad plumbing problems.
