| Seeking Opportunity: Teach English I am interested in opportunities in the Dominican Republic. I currently live in the Miami area. I would be interested in locations throughout the country.I have traveled many times to the Dominican Republic over the last eight years. I have important friendships there, and experiences traveling across the country. I returned from my last trip there in April this year. I enjoyed three months, tutoring English with interested friends. I have experience in teaching, instruction, training of adults and children. My employment experience ranges from work with the government and military, to large corporations, and small start up companies. I have a range of experience including training management, and instruction, development and support of business software applications, customer and technical support. I have traveled to many other places around the world, and have lived in Spain, and in Puerto Rico. I can speak and understand Spanish, but I do not speak fluently. It is my hope that I will one day be fully fluent in Spanish. Working and living in the DR would certainly be valuable in making this a reality ! In addition to my work experience and travels, I am very familiar with life and potential challenges of working and living in the Dominican Republic. I have researched many subjects and categories of interest in the Dominican Republic, and across Latin America. This was an important element of my eight years working for the US Government. These areas of study included geography, transportation, safety, medical and health care facilities, life and living conditions, and much more.
