The websites are Nairobi Business Travel and ELIA Homes and Apartments. The Representative will have the objective of recruiting tourism, travel, hotel, real estate and alternative accommodation businesses in the website, as well as market advertising space. The targeted businesses are as below; NAIROBI BUSINESS TRAVEL; Services must be the following: 1. Car hire 2. Tours, safaris 3. Organizing of conferences and meetings ELIA HOMES AND APARTMENTS; Services in Accommodation: Furnished apartments Home-stays Bed and Breakfast Home Swap Key responsibilities and accountability: Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database. Plan and carry out direct marketing activities (principally direct visits to targeted clientele in your area ) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, product, mix and timescales. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information. Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys. Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct marketing and sales reporting purposes. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
