BA music grade;2/1, foundation deploma music grade;credit, CSE English grade;2, CSE Maths grade;3, CSE geography grade;2, CSE metalwork grade;3,

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills are most important these can be learnt through formal education or by practical experience. An individual with a formal education but no skills whould not be as much of an asset as someone with skills but no formal education

Describe the benefits of working with others

Unity is strength working with others helps to build unerstanding between members of staff, it also helps with the learning process.

Describe the benefits of working alone

When working alone there are no distractions, you are solely responcible for the work done and so it is done to your own satisfaction.

What was your worst working experience?

probally producing my first supervised haircut, at the age of 17

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

To listen to other peoples ideas

What unique skills do you have?

I have maney skills but do not feel that they are unique to me. I do play the Krar Ethiopia's six string lyre and I think I am the only Englishman with this skill.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

music teacher at Yared School of music

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

creating something new

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

the endless hours of practice

What do you think are your greatest strengths

I am very honest and hard working, I am a good listener and find it easy to see other people's piont of view. I am also a good lateral thinker and problem solver.
