I do not consider either more important than the other. Education provides the basis necessary to facilitate production, creation, and the betterment of life and collective knowledge. Skills are used to make things important in all different aspects of life, whether building houses, farming or creating art and music.

Music itself is incredibly interesting; a language without definition that lends itself to personal interpretation and direct communication unfettered by signifier/signified limitations.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

People who treat music as just a way to earn money.

Would you be interested in fields of employment not already discussed in this interview?

Absolutely. An opportunity to learn a new skill is never something i dismiss without careful consideration.
