None at the moment.

What field do you currently work in?

Our company Vision is to provide quality and affordable housing to middle income earners. My responsibility covers both Arrears/Rent Recovery Actions and Property Management. These are my 2 major fields of work.

What fields have you worked in before?

In 2007, I joined Fiji National Provident Fund and worked as a Housing Officer in its Housing Division.Whilst with the Fund (2008), I applied for the Post of the Assistant Property Officer in its Properties Investment Division and was successful.I was tasked to managed 3 of the FNPF's Properties including the Harbour Centre Complex, Kwong Tiy Plaza and also assist Manager Properties in managing the Nadi Hotel.

I resigned in 2008 and joined Public Rental Board and at the moment I am assisting Property Supervisor Western in managing the 6 Estates in the Western Divison- based in Lautoka.

I have got extensive skills & experiences both in the Finance field and the Property Management side of work.

What qualifications do you hold?

I have completed the Augmented Foundation Social Science at USP and also holds a Bachelor of Arts, double majors in Banking Finance & Real Estate.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Talking through experiences, these 2 goes hand in hand-They are said to be complement to each other, goes together. You need to be educated in order to be recognised in your field.Productivity wise, you need to have the skills to achieve maximum productivity.

The point to make is once in the field ,try and learn new things. You have to be adventurous- you need to explore- go beyond your limit and try and learn more new things.By doing these, you will be able to improve on your skills, more productivity for the company....hh & everyone goes home happy.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Team Work, Morale/character building,Efficiency, Effectiveness.

You will be able to meet & achieve targets in due course. You will also be able to learn from other peoples experiences and improve the concept of timing.

Describe the benefits of working alone

I believe that working alone helps me to do things as perfectly as I can and also I will be able to grasp the work concept more faster.

What was your worst working experience?

None so far.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Perfectionist-

I try to do things as perfectly as I can on my own in fear that delegating task to someone, they won't be able to do it as perfectly as I can.

However, now, I was able to delegate task to my surbordinates and try to share with them my level of experiences.

What unique skills do you have?

I am young, enthusiastice, self motivated, strong analytical skills have excellent verbal & communication skills, Task oriented. Every management decision I make is determined by how it will affecet the bottom line workers.

Also mention planning , execution and cost control.I ensure that i don't exceed budget allocation for a particular project.

Its my desire to perform excellently and be recognised for my hard-work.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

To serve the government, be part of the management team and to become someone in my field of work.

Probably to become a Manager one day!!

Dealing with tenants. For this organisation, our tenants is our major customers. Was able to learn more about tenants complain, the nature of the complain and how they can be managed.

What needs to be understood is that,in ALL organization there is loopholes.Different Organizations have its own strengths & weaknesses.

I was able to learn some of these issues, identify the problems, find solutions and try implementing them into the organization. In this way will be able to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
