Summer job vacancy

What type of job are you looking for?

any type of jobs be it in the food industry or clerical just fo holiday jobs

What nationality are you?

Fijian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

i am fluent in English and Fijian and i do know abit of hindi

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Around the main land, Fiji.

What countries have you worked in?

none...just gone for holiday purpose.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

none.

What field do you currently work in?

i am currently a second year law student.

What fields have you worked in before?

- my dads office as his receptionist - my uncles law firm.

What qualifications do you hold?

- high school graduate. - Foundation studies pass with an aggregate of B+ - G.P.A of grade B

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Formal education and skill are most likely the same in some aspects, for instance to differenciate them would be formal education, represents the theory part of a given field and valid qualification, and skill are its practicality component and no qualification, together they form the intricate knowledge of what is vital for a person to excel in such a given field..but the similarities is that it both inter-relates into the given field.I would rather have the skill in order to excel and be the best in what i do, therefore experience is a key component.

Describe the benefits of working with others

The benefits of working with others would be that you get to interact with people and learn of their ideas and experiences and that it broadens your knowledge of the task you are given, therefore not only do you attain social skills but also a positive feedback of your professional attributes.

Describe the benefits of working alone

The benefits of working alone is that you get the job done, meet deadlines, and is independent of your surrounding.

What was your worst working experience?

My worst working experience would be if co-workers do not stick to time - management, as a team player you are answerable to the team therefore if a member lacks the effort, motivation, and professionallism the whole team suffers with you.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

- As a law student, my experiences so far is that, one must maintain harmony with colleagues, students and etc. and that in order to maintain respect you need to give respect.

What unique skills do you have?

i love to sing

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

a dream job, first female president of Fiji.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

well as it deals with law, its likely to be the development of law over the past centuries in Fiji.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

going to court.

How soon can you start if given a job opportunity.

right now, till the end of March.
