To Apply a Position as a Laboratory Technician within an Industrial Workplace.What type of job are you looking for? I am seeking for a job that is of my interest to be engaged with as a laboratory techinician or an environmental analyst in any working field since it has been my desire since childhood to be employ with, in this type of nature. What nationality are you? Fijian. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Firstly,regarding my ethnic background;Fijian as a second level in working places although it is my first language or mother tongue.However I prefer to speak English as a first level language in working places or at institution where English is the key language to communicate with at any levels of profession acquired. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Local/Fiji is the area I prefer to work in.Due to the environmental status of this country or the level of education I have acquired from the university attained would be of benefit to me and also to the people who needs support whereas I play a role model in catering the welfare of others who are in needs and support. I was employed as a laboratory technician or an environmental analyst at the Pacific Pine Chemicals in Deuba. What qualifications do you hold? 1.Certificate in Industrial Laboratory Technician. 2.Diploma in Industrial Laboratory Technician. 3.Diploma in Environmental Science. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider formal education and skills are both valuable in any areas of working field that a person has to be engaged with.Knowledge and skills acquired from formal education learning experience will upgrade the standard of work in a workplace and goals or objectives are achieved at a higher level. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others is beneficial,enables individual to be part of a team that motivates and enables their capability to be shared with others and makes task performed at a fast rate,thus saving time and energy. Describe the benefits of working alone Enable the capability of an individual to be persistent with the task assigned to him or her,manage to cope well without any supervision and broadens his or her understanding or knowledge in carrying out task. What was your worst working experience? None. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
