What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for a chefs job

What nationality are you?

English

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English (fluently) french (basic/conversational, good on food and kitchen related) polish (poor but good understanding of food and kitchen terminologys)

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

helsinki, my girlfriend studies there

What countries have you worked in?

england, france, poland

What field do you currently work in?

Head chef, at chandlers bar and bistro plymouth uk.

What fields have you worked in before?

i have been a chef 10 years, since i left school.

What qualifications do you hold?

basic&intermediate food hygene certificates, nvq l3 in food preparation and various others (baking, cake making etc..)

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

i think they are both valuable but you learn more from being on the job than you do at college.

Describe the benefits of working with others

friends are built within teams, ideas flow more easily, my job would be impossible without the support of others

Describe the benefits of working alone

there are few benefits to working alone if you are a chef,

What was your worst working experience?

sandwich factory when i was 15

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

organisation and preparation are not just important but truly essential

What unique skills do you have?

i am the creative force in my kitchen, i am progressive and individual in what I do. but also have the business acumen and management skills to control my creativity and only use the best ideas. this has proved to be hugely successful

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

my current job but in helsinki

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

i love creating new dishes and selling them. i also love fish. (a strange answer maybe, but if i couldnt cook fish, i wouldnt cook!)

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

temperature records....etc

can anyone offer me a job??

I learn languages fast, i am a head chef but am willing to take a drop in position and salary to move to helsinki. i am extremly hard working and enthusiastic. im a creative, a motivator, and work well leading or within a team. im loyal, friendly and will truly give any opportunitys i am offered 110% as well as the essential quality of being able to cook! my full cv and references are availiable on request.
