I´m looking for any job ,as my porpouse is devoloping myself a little bit more, and gain new abilities! What countries have you worked in? I have worked in UK (8 years) and Spain What countries do you have a visa to work in? Europe What field do you currently work in? At the moment i´m not working as i came back from England not long ago, and i´m doing some courses over here. What fields have you worked in before? I worked as a shop ass. for 1 year in Spain. Two years as Floor supervisor in a 3* hotel (Brighton, Uk) Four years as a Housekeeping Ass. in a 5* hotel(brighton,uk) Two years as a Events Coordinator in a 5* Hotel( Brghton,uk) What qualifications do you hold? Finished College. BA in International Hospitality Management(unfinish) Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both. Formal education - It is about learning how to APPLY your knowledge, and work with others to achieve certain goals etc. It also teaches you a WAY to think, rather than what to think… Skills - experience. I tend to think that most of the things that you are tought at College/ Uni , dont teach anything about the job you´ll be doing,is not actually focused in a practical way! Describe the benefits of working with others Working in a team is great for motivation and ideas also moral in the work place growth and job satisfaction, building relationship and networking Describe the benefits of working alone I’m in control: I get to decide what goes, , when to do it, etc. If I want to radically change something, then I can do it. No one can veto me and I don’t have to run it by anyone. What was your worst working experience? The place that I used to work held the annual conference of The Labour Party, quite a huge event!!!!!We were prepared for months to be able to work with important people and deliver the best !! Due to a financial crisis , the staff was reduced at 50%, so the motivation of most of us and also the pressure was terrible!!We werent enough people to manage the situation! Was a happy ending, but it was a horrible week!!! What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Team workkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!! it opens your mind, and also gives you a great experience . What unique skills do you have? Curiosity, passion, taste and intuitio. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To have a library or a record store!!! What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Working with clever people!!!!!Diversity!
