I have been trained to speak the language since pre-school, and English is the standard of our communication in all our business correspondences. and I speak basic finnish language to. I studied nursing in a reputable nursing school in our country for two years which make me adequate with knowledge in first aid and other caretaking techniques. I have sufficient background with kids starting 3 years of age. Evident of which, I take care of my younger siblings and some cousins at the moment. I do enjoy being and playing with them, and I have no problem helping them with school works. I also do household chores. In fact, I have a hand in dishwashing, laundry and other cleaning stuffs. I even cook too. I already tried cooking Finnish dish, but I am excellent with Filipino foods. FYI, I have been to your country last summer and visited Oulu (2005). I stayed with my sister who has a Finnish husband for a couple of months. You may ask their recommendation, and I will be more than willing to provide their contacts, if you so desire. During the period that I stayed in your country, I have learned to that our cultures have certain similarities. This is probably because of some Spanish influences, of which the Philippines has its fair share of deep colonization too. Nevertheless, your value on trustworthiness, responsibility, hardwork and honesty, the attributes you are looking for in a nanny is never too far, for I possess those them, and they are the qualities that are naturally imbibed in me. |
