Nursing JobsWhat type of job are you looking for? I'm looking for a nursing job in Tahiti preferably. I have 5.5 years of ER experience and have my SANE certification. What nationality are you? I'm a wonderfully white American girl..grown properly in the country. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? English..it's all I know What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I want to expose my daughter to a different lifestyle so it doesn't really matter where. Hot, tropical, water... What field do you currently work in? I'm an ER nurse What fields have you worked in before? Waitress, field worker, fast food, food prep, line cook, make up artist, hairstylist, nail and facial tech What qualifications do you hold? BSN, RN, SANE, ACLS, PALS Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I think skills are really important because even with formal education I see that some people can't do the job. If you have skills...you can do anything. Describe the benefits of working with others The team environment is great because it's good to have back up and support. Describe the benefits of working alone When you work alone you have the opportunity to be completely responsible for the job done and can either do it right the first time or not. Working alone is great sometimes. What was your worst working experience? When a fast food place I worked at changed owners and the new owner was a swinger and when I wouldn't participate he fired me. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? That doing a job well, and with good spirit is a job worthwhile. I've also learned that the only thing that matters is that you love what you do, otherwise, it makes it not so fun to go to work. What unique skills do you have? I can do just about anything. I'm great at IV's, and especially great working in crisis or high stress situations. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being a flight nurse or traveling around the world being a nurse. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Saving lives. Watching sick people get better by giving them medicine and walking out of my hospital.
