Skilled mechanic for work on large pumps, seals boilers,pressure vessels, anything to do with electrical generation including hydraulic water turbines, dams fossil stations, also i am a fully qualified welder with all my piping tickets, and an exelent trouble shooter. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? i believe at the moment skilled labor due to the lack i have seen in large areas because of the computer industry has taken skilled labor away for 15-20 years now. Describe the benefits of working with others peer checking is a great safety aspect, and provides teamwork. Describe the benefits of working alone not to sure i prefer working with others and building a relationship with my co workers, to build trust and high moral support What was your worst working experience? i nearly died due to a hydrogen leak What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? to always follow the rules and procedures i am given What unique skills do you have? problem solving and leading a crew to get work done on time and budget What would you consider as your 'dream job'? a place where my family is happy and my peers, and employer who fully trusts me with there company in my hands to fullfill there tasks What are the most interesting aspects of your field? the fact that there are new challenges around every corner and that wherever you are people allways need electricty What are the least interesting aspects of your field? when things are done and there is no rework and the stations run well then things can be quiet.
