I would like to try to work at French Polynesia since it is so different from Denmark and I would love the experience of getting to know a new culture and discovering one of the most beautiful places in the world What countries have you worked in? France, Denmark, USA What countries do you have a visa to work in? I only need a VISA to work in the USA, which I currently don't have What field do you currently work in? translation, teaching What fields have you worked in before? teaching, translation, communication, journalism What qualifications do you hold? BA degree in French and communication, supplementary course in journalism and a semester in MA of Arts in Communication. I have a lot of working experience with children too. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? both, but my experience has taught me that what developed me the most has been learning by doing, especially in the field of working with people, teaching. Empathy and understanding and social intelligence have been very important skills I have developed by being in the field instead of in front of the books Describe the benefits of working with others I like the flow of energy when working with people, and the feeling that you're making a difference each day Describe the benefits of working alone you have the control of what you're doing, more than you would if someone interferes What was your worst working experience? working with a boss who feels he needs to be by my side all the time to check what I am doing, just because he doesn't understand that he needs to trust his employees What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? that hard work pays off, and the more I get into my work, the more valuable it becomes and the happier I get to see the results What unique skills do you have? I am creative - paint, draw, write, sing.
