Describe the benefits of working with others The best thing about working with others is getting new perspectives on a subject. Someone else may look at the topic in a completely different way. It is also more fun because you can joke around and talk. Describe the benefits of working alone When I work alone I seem to get more done. But it really depends on what you are doing. If it is just simple data entry or grading papers, it is better to work alone. If you are trying to figure out how to handle tough students, it is better to work with others because all the different ideas come together and create solutions. What was your worst working experience? I think it must be my first year of teaching when the principal had cancer and was on a lot of medication. I really put a lot of effort into the position of teaching a combined class of 7th and 8th graders. In language arts, we read To Kill a Mockingbird and put on a play. We did all kinds of creative and fun projects. But she said I wasn't doing well enough to continue on as a teacher. I fought it and won. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Treat others as you would like to be treated and be open to new ideas. What unique skills do you have? It seems like the meetings don't accomplish much and I always keep thinking of all I could be accomplishing if I wasn't sitting there . Are you adventuresome? Yes. I love change, and new experiences.
