I do not have a visa What field do you currently work in? I do not have a permanent job but have been doing part time jobs as and when the opportunities come What fields have you worked in before? I have worked with the environmental department of the Ghana manganese company as an industrial student trainee, I have also worked with the Ghana education Service as a teacher during my national service programme. I have also done a research work with the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana)as a research field assistant. What qualifications do you hold? I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Agriculture ( from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST-Kumasi, Ghana) I also have a Diploma certificate in Human Resource Management (from the Institute of Commercial Management(ICM),UK Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider both to be valuable. This is because without the individual acquiring some skill, only the theory taught in school would not be enough for him when it comes to duty performance.also formal education is necessary as it broadens the individuals way of thinking.IN a nutshell I think both formal education and skills are correlated Describe the benefits of working with others Working with a team for me hastens activities are more hands are involved in a particular project. Also working with a team enables the individual acquire new ideas and skills as there would be a form of brainstorming among members in the team on a particular alternative. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone helps in achieving organizational goal as the individual would as much as possible try to work tirelessly in achieving a set target on a particular project. Working alone also avoids negative attitudes towards work since the individual knows that a particular work is for him alone and must complete it within a set period. What was your worst working experience? I experienced my worst working environment during the Ghana's 2010 population and housing census and the research work with CDD-Ghana as respondents in both cases were unwilling to cooperate and that made the work looked a bit tiresome. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learnt that in working with a group, you must not let the group characteristics take precedence over your individualism as evil communication we say corrupt good manners. What unique skills do you have? Am creative and innovative What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To become a big time researcher What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
