Ghana. I recently visited Ghana for the first time and was immediately blown away by the hospitality of the people, the culture, and how "at home" I felt there. I think it would be an amazing opportuniy to work and live in Ghana.

I am currently a Health Education Volunteer for the Peace Corps serving in Mali
What fields have you worked in before?
My first employment expereinces were as a lifeguard and water-safety promotion. I have worked in Food Service and am now working in public health education.
What qualifications do you hold?
I hold a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition from The Pennsylvania State University. I've also had over a years work experience in Africa volunteering with the Peace Corps
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
Skills. I believe that having a wide range of experiences, in which skills were gained, is most helpful in doing any job. Formal education is only the first step towards becomming successful in the work force.
Describe the benefits of working with others
In working with others you learn cooperation and gain team-building skills. Often the final product or end result benefits greatly when there are multiple people offering their input.
Describe the benefits of working alone
In working alone, one can only rely on him or herself. One needs to use efficiency, self motivation and have confidence in their abilities.
What was your worst working experience?
I usually try and make the best out of every situation and feel like there is something to be learned even from the worst of experiences. However, I find it very difficult to do anything without the proper motivation.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
You can learn something from every opportunity presented to you. Search hard for these opportunities.
What unique skills do you have?
I have the ability to adapt and thrive in many different cultures. I am hard-working, adventurous and culturally sensitive.
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
My dream job would be one in which I could travel and explore new cultures, people, and places and in which, at the end of every day, I felt as if I've made a positive impact.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
Nutrition is currently an extremely important area of Public Health and because of many social and cultural issues can be very different from place to place. While many suffer from undernutrition there are also many dealing with the problems of overnutrition. The diversity that nutritionists face makes this field very interesting.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
I have never felt disinterested in anything concerning Nutrition or anything with Public Health. Trying to bring about behavior changes can be very frustrating and often the results from ones work are not clearly visible.

I expect to be challenged on a day to day basis. and work in an environment that is positive and
